New Delhi, October 28 (Daily Kiran): Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan has embarked on a three-day visit to Tamil Nadu from October 28 to 30. This marks his first official tour to the state since assuming office. During the visit, he will participate in a series of programs in Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Madurai, and Ramanathapuram.

According to an official statement, the Vice President will arrive directly in Coimbatore from Seychelles, where he recently concluded a two-day official visit from October 26–27. During his stay in Seychelles, he attended the swearing-in ceremony of President Dr. Patrick Herminie.
Upon his arrival at Coimbatore Airport, Vice President Radhakrishnan will be welcomed by local dignitaries. The Coimbatore Citizen Forum will felicitate him at the Coimbatore District Small Industries Association. He will also pay floral tributes to the statue of Mahatma Gandhi at the Town Hall premises and later participate in the centenary celebrations of Shantalinka Ramasamy Adigalar at Perur Math.
In the evening, the Vice President will travel to Tiruppur, where he will offer floral tributes at the statues of Mahatma Gandhi and Tiruppur Kumaran. On October 29, he is scheduled to attend a felicitation ceremony in Tiruppur and later offer prayers at the Meenakshi Amman Temple in Madurai.
On October 30, Vice President Radhakrishnan will take part in the Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar Jayanti celebrations at Pasumpon village in Ramanathapuram district.
